I Am The Messenger

Plot: Ed Kennedy just a plain under age cabdriver who hasn't done anything with his life. Mysteriously gets a card the ace of diamonds in the mail with unusual tasks. As he does these tasks he finds out that a nobody can be a somebody and with a little heart you can change the way you see things and they way they see you.

survive the clubs
dig deep through the spades
feel the hearts"

The major conflicts of this story is the sense of him just trying to survive the tasks that is given to him throughout the book and his love for Audrey trying to get the girl of his wildest dreams.
The things I found great about the book is how the author found a way to set up a the events in the book and the creativity of it. The humor is everyday things so between family and friends. The things I did not like about the book is half way through it started to rush things a little. The book is about 300 and some odd pages. Again I highly recommend this book if your looking for little life changing experience.
